European Market Observatory for Fisheries and Aquaculture Products

The European Market Observatory for Fisheries and Aquaculture Products (EUMOFA) is a European Union market intelligence tool for the fisheries and aquaculture sector developed by the European Commission. The aim is to increase market transparency and efficiency, analyze the dynamics of EU markets and support corporate and policy-making decisions. EUMOFA volumes, values and prices of fishery and aquaculture products are monitored directly, from first sale to retail, including imports and exports. Data are collected from EU countries, Norway, Iceland, and EU institutions, and are updated daily.

Reaching its third renewal in December 2018, EUMOFA is a flagship project of COGEA's maritime area, carried out within a consortium that includes AND International, BIP, Eurofish and Kontali Analyse.
