COGEA was founded in 1979 out of the experience of its partners in auditing, certification and management consulting. Over the years, COGEA has gradually focused on issues related to the design and management of initiatives co-financed by the EU.
With its thirty-year experience in consulting and over 150 projects related to ESI funds, COGEA is today among the Italian leaders in the field of technical assistance, design, evaluation, management and control of programmes and interventions co-financed by the EU.
Since 2010, COGEA has achieved leadership at European level in the design and development of market intelligence solutions aimed at policy makers and stakeholders along the entire EU food supply chain.
Among its main clients are EU, national and regional administrations; local authorities; public-private Partnerships; credit institutions.
COGEA has a consolidated experience in the management of relations with stakeholder organisations, as it has been collaborating for many years with the most important business and trade organisations at a national and local level.
Since 2002, COGEA has been certified with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 (Certificate n.7096/02/S dated 30/05/2017).
